Pine Equipment & Supplies Help Save Lives

Pine Environmental Services LLC (Pine) is a Professional Service Company that provides rental and sales equipment for Environmental Monitoring, Nondestructive Testing, and Visual Inspection in the U.S. and Canada. Pine's mission, vision, and values focus on six areas for saving lives. These areas include Clean Air, Clean Water, Soil & Sound, Remote Monitoring, Inspecting & Testing, and Safety & Supplies.

Clean Air

The Clean Air Act (CAA) is a comprehensive federal law that regulates air emissions from stationary and mobile sources. This law authorizes EPA to establish National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) to protect public health and welfare and regulate emissions of hazardous air pollutants.

Pine provides equipment for indoor and outdoor air and gas monitoring. Air pollution is the contamination of air due to the presence of substances in the atmosphere that are harmful to the health of humans and other living beings or cause damage to the climate or materials.

There are many different air pollutants, such as gases (including ammonia, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, nitrous oxides, methane, carbon dioxide, and chlorofluorocarbons), particulates (organic and inorganic), and biological molecules.

Pine carries photo ionization detectors (PIDs), flame ionization detectors (FIDs), gas monitors, compound specific analyzers, aerosol monitors, ambient high-volume samplers, air sampling pumps, air velocity meters, and air hand pumps. Visit our Air & Gas Monitoring section for more information and to request a quote to rent or purchase any of our equipment items.

Clean Water

The Clean Water Act (CWA) establishes the basic structure for regulating discharges of pollutants into the waters of the United States and regulating quality standards for surface waters. The basis of the CWA was enacted in 1948 and was called the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, but the Act was significantly reorganized and expanded in 1972. "Clean Water Act" became the Act's common name with amendments in 1972.

Pine supplies water quality monitoring equipment to environmental consultants, hydrogeologists, and engineers to help ensure compliance with stormwater and groundwater monitoring regulations driven by private industry and state and federal agencies.

Pine water level & quality equipment includes water level indicators, interface probes, remediation pumps, peristaltic pumps, bladder pumps, water samplers, pipe flow probes, water quality instruments, turbidity meters, and water analysis.

Visit our Water Level & Quality Monitoring section for more information and to request a quote to rent or purchase any of our equipment items.

Soil & Sound

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) points out that healthy soil is a living and life-giving natural resource and essential that we test and regularly monitor for a sustainable future. Pine provides the proper soil sampling, meters, and field supplies to help improve soil function.

The Noise Control Act warns us that Inadequately controlled noise presents a growing danger to the health and welfare of the Nation's population, particularly in urban areas. The significant noise sources include vehicles and equipment, machinery, appliances, and other products in commerce.

The Noise Control Act of 1972 establishes a national policy to promote an environment for all Americans free from noise that jeopardizes their health and welfare.

Pine carries soil sampling equipment, soil meters, sound level meters, vibration, and radiation equipment. Visit our Soil & Sound section for more information and to request a quote to rent or purchase any of our equipment items.

Remote Monitoring

Monitor your job site remotely in real-time with Pine’s telemetry solutions. Pine’s Global Telemetry Solutions (GTS™) uses cellular modem technology to receive data streamed 24/7 to your phone, tablet, or computer.

Whether your project requires real-time monitoring for dust at a construction site or water quality parameters during remedial injections into groundwater wells, Pine has a solution available through our GTS™ monitoring system. Pine provides many remote monitoring solutions from partners such as Aeroqual, Samsara, and In-Situ. Visit our Survey section for more information and to request a quote to rent or purchase any of our equipment items.

Inspect & Test

Nondestructive Testing (NDT) is any of a broad group of analysis techniques used in the science and technology industry to evaluate the properties of a material, component, or system without causing damage.

The six most frequently used NDT methods are eddy-current, magnetic-particle, liquid penetrant, radiographic, ultrasonic, and visual testing. Pine provides most of the equipment used within these methods.

Remote Visual Inspection (RVI) is a form of visual inspection which uses visual aids, including video technology, to allow an inspector to look at objects and materials from a distance because the things are inaccessible or are in dangerous environments.

Some examples of Pine's equipment include borescopes, videoscopes, fiberscopes, push cameras, cameras, and robotic crawlers. Pine provides many of the cutting-edge equipment items requested for industry applications. Visit our NDT & RVI section for more information and to request a quote to rent or purchase any of our equipment items.
